Seven words of wisdom
Sometimes you stumble upon wisdom that sums up bucketloads of aha moments and other varieties of excellent waves in the brain.
For instance these seven brilliant words:
Eat food. Not too much. Mostly plants.
They were first written by Michael Pollan in his book In Defence of Food. Imagine how he felt the moment he wrote those seven words down. And note that he had spent years on research on the subject of food.
Imagine the advertising business could reach such heights instead of creating horrible difficult communication like Food pyramids. Or the Five a Day concept. “Dear, I think I only had 4 units today and I might be skewed towards the fruit. Blimey.”
Imagine a healthy food campaign that were true to those seven words. Disregard the fact that dozens of lobby groups would try to prevent it. Just imagine for a sec please?
Great communication comes from truly great insight. It´s as simple and yet difficult as that.
